SIMS On-Line Error Checking
These control on-line error checking as well as off-line audits using the SIMS Database Audits utility. Most of the checks use a "batch switching" logic in which all checks for a module can be disabled by disabling the primary checkbox.
It is strongly recommended that a full database audit be performed at once, should any of these cross-checks be modified, after SIMS has first been installed, to identify any inconsistencies that may have been introduced.
Document Checks
If checked, enables Document checks below:
Verify Facility ID
If checked, verify existence of Facility ID in Cleared Facilities and perform any checks for Documents under the Facility checks.
Verify Custodian ID
If checked, verify existence of Custodian ID in Cleared Personnel and perform any checks for Documents under the Personnel checks.
Verify Container ID
If checked, verify existence of Container ID in Secure Containers and perform any checks for Documents under the Container checks.
Verify Contract ID
If checked, verify existence of Contract ID in Classified Contracts and perform any checks for Documents under the Contract checks.
Facility Storage Level on External Transfers
If checked, verify facility transferring documents to has a storage level rank greater than or equal to the classification level rank of each document being transferred.
Facility Special Access on External Transfer
If checked, verify facility transferring documents to has a special access required by each document being transferred.
Outgoing Visit Requests Checks
Visit Request TO - FROM <= Defined Time Period
If checked, verify outgoing visit request date range defined by the valid from and to dates does not exceed the maximum time period defined in System Settings.
Visit Request End Date on or before Contract End Date
If checked, verify outgoing visit request end date does not exceed the Contract's End Date (if applicable).
