Host Facilities maintains information about the facility using SIMS.
The purpose of the Host Facilities database is to store data regarding all of the host user's cleared facilities. Company name, facility ID, address, phone, clearance level, point of contact, etc. are some of the items that comprise the Host Facilities data. This information is useful for communicating with other facilities with respect to security matters. Checking the date of last SPP update or generating mailing lists are examples of using the Host Facilities database.
The Host Facilities database is separate from the Other Facilities, to simplify the handling of the host versus other facilities information in other databases and reports.
